Jia Nailiang Answers a Viral 'Secret Son' Rumor With a Photo of His Cat

On October 17, the hashtag "divorced male star who livestreams has a son" hit Weibo's hot-search list, and "Jia Nailiang denies having a son" followed soon after. ## Where the rumor came from According to Sina Entertainment, the claim traced back to a single chat screenshot. The poster said the information came secondhand from a relative who once worked on the star's team. There were no photos, no recordings and no name. Netizens matched the clues (divorced for years, livestreams, male celebrity) and quickly landed on actor Jia Nailiang (贾乃亮). ## His reply That afternoon Jia posted a photo with a kitten on Weibo: "I look at my phone and a son has appeared out of nowhere. There's just this one, right here!" ## Why people guessed him Jia married actress Li Xiaolu in 2012; they have one daughter and announced their divorce in 2019. He moved into livestream selling in 2020 and is now one of Douyin's top celebrity hosts. Public reports show no remarriage or other children since the divorce, and Sina's commentary noted that an anonymous post with no evidence should be treated as rumor. *This article only summarises his public response and media reports; it does not suggest the rumor is true.*
